Claudia Schiffer (25 August 1970) is a German supermodel who has been an iconic figure for models since the 1980s. She remains popular to this day, and is the creative director of her own clothing label.
Claudia is from Rheinberg, Germany. It is a small town 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northwest of Duisburg, near the Dutch border. She is one of four children, with two brothers, Stefan and Andreas, and a sister, Ann Carolin.
The story goes that Claudia was in a Düsseldorf nightclub at a friend's birthday party when Michel Levaton of the Metropolitan agency spotted her. She was just 17 years old. Ah, if that kind of miracle only happened every day....
After that, the world of modelling was her oyster. Claudia Schiffer has been on about as many covers as any model. It's all legendary now, the details don't matter. Basically, Claudia had whatever covers she wanted, when she wanted them.
Legend has it that Claudia holds the record for appearing on the most magazine covers (well over 700). Claudia Schiffer has 58 Vogue covers alone, including:

Claudia snagged several high-profile gigs early in her career. She raised the profile of Guess?, and then became the face of Chanel after Karl Lagerfeld personally chose her.

Claudia was in the May 1997 issue and on the cover of Playboy Magazine.
As with many supermodels, Claudia's opportunities outgrew modelling. She began a film career with "Richie Rich," and numerous films followed.
Some of Claudia's high-profile movie appearances include "Love Actually" and "Zoolander." She also produced a series of fitness videos entitled "Claudia Schiffer's Perfectly Fit." She continues to make television appearances, primarily simply appearing as herself, such as on a 2016 episode of "The Insider." Claudia has turned her attention to producing projects, too, such as the 2017 "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" and 2016 "Eddie the Eagle." For some reasons, Claudia bills herself in the producer role as Claudia Vaughn - but nobody refers to Claudia Schiffer as Claudia Vaughn.

In addition, Claudia released an autobiography called "Memories" appeared in Peter Lindbergh's book "10 Women" and the book "A second decade of Guess? images." Claudia appeared in the music video "Say it isn't so" by Bon Jovi.
Claudia has had a few notorious incidents in her larger-than-life life. She had a legendary relationship with magician David Copperfield, whom she met in Berlin in 1993 when he hired her to help with his onstage magician act. Nobody at the time could figure that one out, and there were a lot of jokes about how Copperfield had worked his magic on Claudia. However, it was a very real relationship: when a tabloid claimed it was all a sham and that Copperfield was paying Claudia to hang out with him, Claudia famously sued and recovered damages. The happy couple remained together through the 1990s before breaking up.
Claudia has several unusual claims to fame. She has a toy doll made to resemble her, along with fellow models Karen Mulder and Naomi Campbell. She was part owner in the Fashion Café restaurant chain with Campbell and Elle MacPherson. A wax statue of her appears in the Grévin Museum in Paris.
On 25 May 2002 she married the film director Matthew Vaughn in Suffolk. Schiffer and Vaughn have three children: son Caspar Matthew (born 30 January 2003, Westminster, London) and daughters Clementine Poppy (born 11 November 2004, Westminster) and Cosima Violet (born 14 May 2010). The marriage has been a happy one.
Claudia and her family live in Coldham Hall mansion near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, which is a Grade 1-listed hall built in 1574. As with everything else about Claudia's life, it is a stupendous home, a 14-bedroom Tudor mansion on 530 acres. It has been featured in Architectural Digest. Claudia and Vaughn were out for a drive in 2002 when Claudia, on a whim, decided that they should turn into the driveway. Up they drove, then the pair parked the car and knocked on the mansion's massive front door. Claudia charmed the owners and bought the place a few months later surrounded by 120 of her closest friends..
Claudia says that the mansion is haunted. Fortunately, a medium that she hired told Claudia that the ghosts are all "lovely." No worries, she'll just charm the ghosts into doing the housework.
Claudia remains involved in the fashion scene, though she hasn't done much modelling herself for several years. It's not that she can't - simply that she doesn't have to. Instead, she hosts shows and makes celebrity appearances. For instance, in July 2017 she was at the Chanel Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2017-2018 show as part of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week. She also co-hosted the annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London. Basically, all Claudia has to do is go out to dinner and she makes the tabloids, so her star remains firmly high above in the heavens.
