Carla Campbell (born November 22, 1980) is a Jamaican fashion model who has has been on some of the top fashion magazine covers. She is probably best known for appearing in the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Campbell was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Carla got serious about modelling in 1997, when she entered the Pulse Model Search. That led to a Pulse modeling contract, and soon she was in all sorts of local publications such as the Air Jamaica in-flight magazine. Eventually, she moved to New York City to pursue her career and joined Karin Models and then IMG.
She made a big splash in 2006 when she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was the first Caribbean to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimwear Issue. Before and since, she has represented Saks Fifth Avenue, Victoria’s Secret, L’Oreal, Nike, FUBU, L'Oréal, Avon, Seventeen magazine, Footlocker, Miller Beer, Maxim, Target and Fubu.
Carla is proud to be the the second lady from the Caribbean to be featured in Victoria's Secret. She also has a modeling contract with Pulse Fashion and is a part of the Beauty Hall of Fame in Jamaica. Carla Campbell remains a top model and will be seen for many years to come.
