Mila Kunis has been famous for what seems like forever, but she's still only in her early thirties. She has had several things happen to her that could have made her famous all by themselves, when ordinary folks would love to have just one. Let's take a closer look at the lovely Mila and see what she's all about.
Mila's full name is Milena Markovna Kunis, and she was born on 14 August 1983 in the Ukraine.
Mila's hometown is Chernivtsi. She has an older brother named Michael. The family left the (now former) USSR in 1991 and headed to Los Angeles, California.
Mila's family is Jewish, but they couldn't practice it as they would have liked back in the USSR. When she came to the US, Mila didn't know any English, but she made it through school anyway.
Mila started taking acting classes as soon as the family made it to LA. Her first work was in a Barbie commercial.
In 1994, Mila got a role on the soap "Days of Our Lives."
Soon after, Mila played one of Hobie's numerous love interests on "Baywatch."
Several minor roles followed as Mila built her resume. One ironic part that she lost was when she auditioned to play a Russian Jewish girl who emigrates to the US. She got the role of a Mexican girl instead.
Great things were in store for Mila. In 1998, she was cast as Jackie Burkhart in "That '70s Show." It was a classic sitcom which made huge stars out of much of the cast - including Mila.
"That '70s Show" was on forever - 8 years - and brought Mila awards in 1999 and 2000.
While on "That '70s Show," Mila took over the role of Meg Griffin on "Family Guy."
Film work soon followed. She started out in straight-to-DVD films, such as "American Psycho 2" alongside William Shatner. It was good experience, even if she later said that the film was embarrassing.
The roles gradually got better. She starred in the Judd Apatow comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" in 2008. For the role, Mila was nominated for Teen Choice Award.
Mila tried to become a superheroine with "Max Payne." However, the film, based on the video game, didn't receive very good reviews. However, Mila did get another Teen Choice Award nomination out of it.
After that, her roles got even better. She starred in "Extract" with Ben Affleck and "The Book of Eli" with Denzel Washington.
The biggest role of her career (so far) soon followed. In 2010, Mila played a lesbian love interest of Natalie Portman in Black Swan. The film made a ton of money and brought Mila a Golden Globe award.
More film work followed. She starred in "Friends With Benefits" with Justin Timberlake, which also made a lot of money.
In 2012, Mila starred in "Ted" alongside Mark Wahlberg. "Ted" made more money than any of her other films, grossing $549 million.
Mila appeared in other films thereafter, including "Oz the Great and Powerful" and "Blood Ties." The first made money, the second was not as successful. Generally her later films did not do as well as "Ted" and "Black Swan."
Mila started looking for work more behind the scenes at that point. She formed a new production company, Orchard Farm Productions, with some investors. She also decided to Executive Produce a television series for the CW, "Meridian Hills."
Mila often makes the "Hottest Women" lists. For instance, she was No. 1 on the 2013 FHM "100 Sexiest Women in the World" list.
Mila and Macaulay dated for a long time. They only officially announced their breakup in January 2011.
Mila then dated her "That '70s Show" costar Ashton Kutcher, who also had become a big star.
The couple has a daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, born on 1 October 2014.
