Kaley Christine Cuoco (born November 30, 1985) is an American television and film actress. She is famous for playing the role of Penny on the hugely popular CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" since 2007. Basically, Kaley Cuoco is a cultural phenomenon, the biggest star on the biggest television show of her generation.
Kaley first became famous for playing Bridget Hennessy on the ABC sitcom "8 Simple Rules" (2002–2005) with John Ritter. Kaley was very close to John, by then a legendary star himself.
After his untimely death, Kaley then joined the "Charmed" cast as Billie Jenkins for its final season, in 2005–2006. Thus, Kaley has been in three successful series: "8 Simple Rules," "Charmed" and "Big Bang Theory." There was a plan to spin off Kaley's character from "Charmed," but it never happened.

Kaley is of Italian, English and German ancestry. She was a nationally ranked amateur tennis player, but stopped playing at the age of 16. Her sister, Briana, is a dancer who also occasionally acts.
While acting in the occasional low-profile film such as "The Penthouse," but her fame is derived from her work on the small screen.
Kaley also made a splash as William Shatner's daughter on some Priceline commercials.

However, she also has won a Golden Raspberry Award for bad acting for Worst Supporting Actress. This came for her work in "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip" and "The Wedding Ringer" in 2015.
Kaley dated costar Johnny Galecki for about two years, the first two years of "Big Bang Theory." She later married tennis player Ryan Sweeting - the one she likes to cook for - on December 31, 2013. They got divorced in May 2016. Maybe the meatballs were too spicey.
Kaley's attraction may have derived in small part from her own talent as a tennis player. She was regionally ranked before giving up the sport at the age of 16.
