"Hannah Montana" Girl Miley Cyrus Loves to Perform!
Miley Cyrus became famous as the "Hannah Montana" girl, but she's grown into a fine young woman. She remains an icon for her follower who have grown up with her - and an increasing number of men. Below, some pictures of Miley at various stages of her career.
There is no question that Miley Cyrus is wildly successful at what she does. In 2007, for instance, Cyrus earned $18 million from her "Hannah Montana" act. That was only the beginning, as in 2008, she earned a further $25 million and was ranked number 35 on Forbes magazine's Celebrity 100 list. She was the richest teenage celebrity ever, and her franchise was worth approximately $1 billion by the end of the year. That's Olsen-twins money!

Everybody was taken by surprise by the lewd performance, but Miley is crafty and knows how to get attention. She overshadowed the attention that was given to other major events of the night, such as the reunion of 'N Sync and performances by Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Perry, in fact, seemed so taken aback by the whole thing that not long afterwards, she swore off wearing sexy clothes altogether. That's a true loss, given that she has the figure Miley Cyrus only wishes she had.

Unfortunately, a lot of parents were upset about the weird vibes coming out of the performance. Miley gained her fame and fortune by appealing to children, and her use of that fame to unleash erotic imagery on people who were reasonably expecting something a whole lot tamer was a bit cynical. Cyrus just said, "They’re overthinking it. You’re thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it." And, no doubt, counting her money as she drives to the bank.
